Honest FAQ

Stuff people
actually ask.

Process, pricing, timelines, ownership — the recurring questions, answered without the agency-speak. If your question isn't here, just email us.

Getting started

Email us via the contact form. We'll reply within a business day with either follow-up questions or a 30-min intro call. From there: we send a written proposal with scope, timeline and price. Once accepted and the deposit is paid, we kick off.

Yes. Landing pages, one-week sprints, brand microsites — all welcome. We have a soft minimum around RM 5k for proper engagements; below that, you're usually better off with a website builder or a freelancer.

Yes — we work asynchronously across Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe. KL hours (GMT+8) overlap nicely with both. We invoice in MYR by default but can quote in SGD, AUD, USD, EUR, GBP.

Happy to sign yours, or use ours. Either way, confidentiality is automatic in our standard terms.

Pricing & timelines

It depends on scope. As a rough guide: marketing websites RM 8k–40k, web apps RM 30k–150k+, mobile apps RM 40k–200k+. Every project is quoted properly after a discovery conversation — we don't have a "menu price".

Marketing sites: 3–6 weeks. Web apps and mobile apps: 8–16 weeks for an MVP, longer if the scope is wide. We start with a small phase first so you can see how we work before committing to bigger investments.

Sometimes. "Faster" usually costs more (rush fee, parallelised team) or reduces scope (cut features). We'd rather tell you what's realistic than promise something that won't ship well.

Standard split is 50% deposit, 50% on completion. Longer engagements (3+ months) are broken into monthly milestones. Payment is bank transfer, 14-day terms. Full details in our Terms of Service.

How we work

Directly. We're a small team — whoever you meet on day one is who you'll work with on day one hundred. No account managers, no juniors-pretending-to-be-seniors, no offshore handoffs.

Timely feedback (within 3 working days), content and brand assets when we ask for them, and ideally one or two empowered decision-makers. Design-by-committee with 8 stakeholders is the fastest way to derail a project.

Revisions are part of design. We share work in progress weekly, gather feedback, and iterate. What's not free is repeatedly changing direction after sign-off — we'll quote that as a change request.

Yes — we offer monthly retainers for hosting, updates, security patches, and minor changes. Or you can take everything in-house at handover. Your choice.

Ownership & tech

You do, once you've paid in full. That includes the source files, source code, and documentation. We retain reusable internal components (under licence to you for your project) and the right to feature the work in our portfolio. Full terms here.

Pragmatic choices, not hype. Websites: static HTML/CSS/JS or a headless CMS. Web apps: usually .NET or Node.js backend, Angular or React frontend. Mobile: React Native (one codebase, both stores). Always whichever fits the team that'll maintain it after we leave.

Yes — every site we ship is CMS-driven from day one. You can edit headlines, copy, images, menus, and form notifications without us touching the code. Major design or feature changes still need us, but day-to-day content is yours to manage.

We build SEO foundations into every site (semantic HTML, fast load, structured data, sitemap, meta tags). We don't do ongoing SEO campaigns, link building, or content marketing — that's a different specialty. We can refer you to people who do.

After launch

Bugs in our code are fixed free for 30 days after launch. After that, it's billed at our hourly rate or under a retainer.

Always. We hand over source code, deployment instructions, and admin access from day one. If you hire an in-house team or switch agencies, you're not locked in.
